About Philippa
I’m Philippa Kennealy with a bunch of letters after my name — MD MPH CPCC PCC to be precise.
I’m a spouse, a mom, a physician coach, a blogger, a member of a far flung family, a South African by birth, an American by choice, a former practicing Family Physician, a former hospital CEO, a former Internet start-up pretend-geek executive … I own as many hats, titles and identities as most people who lead busy lives!
Above all, I am passionate about certain things. My Manifesto reflects one of passions. I’m a glass half-full, dreamer-doer, Aquarian gal, much to my husband’s realistic, pragmatic surgeon’s chagrin and amusement.
I think “She Lived Life Enthusiastically” will be carved on my tomb stone.
I’m challenged by unfulfilled good intentions to work out regularly, the distances between me and my family of origins, and paroxysms of laziness that have me “travel web surfing” from time to time.
I live in Los Angeles and fantasize about a simpler, less-cluttered life.
