The Women Leaving Medicine Podcast
We all love a good story, don’t we?
I find it very inspiring to listen to the tales of woe and success, and the advice, of women physicians who have left medicine and are making new and different lives for themselves and their families.
In keeping with the oral tradition of many tribes throughout the world, in which women have been the chief storytellers, I plan to bring you glimpses into the lives and choices of the many women doctors who, every day, are opting for predominantly non-clinical lives — as home-makers, part-time workers, moms and caretakers.
They will serve as our inspiration — our touch points for the challenges and rewards of the decisions they have made.
